Our history
May Oilfield Pipe was established in 1953 by Joe R. May. Joe started plugging wells as a young man and then bought his own yard and founded May Pipe. For almost 70 years, we’ve provided quality oilfield and steel pipe products to oil and gas companies, construction companies, farms, ranches, and the like.
We built our business on the principles of honesty and a strong work ethic. We’ve kept our doors open through every season to serve our customers and pay our staff, no matter the season or economic climate, and we’ve been blessed for it.
Joe’s son, Richard, joined the company 37 years ago. Today, May Pipe is a second-generation, family-owned business, run by Richard. We are just as committed as ever to providing quality service and a great product. That’s why we have many long term customers and employees.
May Pipe is located in Overton, TX. We are a full service, turnkey pipe facility. As an API licensed company, we specialize in CNC threading, bucking, pipe reclamation, and more.
